Hello derby folk it has been one hell of a year (well 9 months of it).

When the first issue came out in April I didn’t know what to expect.  I traveled all over Kentucky and Indiana and experience new places and new faces.  At my first regionals I was in a culture shock. I got to interview few of the best rollergirls in the Derby World such as Val Capone, Marilyn Gun-Hoe, Tara Armov, Bonnie D. Stroir and Demanda Riot.

This year, ROLLERBALLS is heading into new grounds.

I’ve been traveling a lot from Tennessee, Ohio, more parts of Kentucky, Indiana and more states to come and experience more derby than ever before.  And lets not forget…the after parties.  Its ROLLER DERBY ALL DAY  AFTER PARTIES ALL NIGHT!

I have a Twitter (that I have since 2009) So follow me on TWITTER!!  I’ll be making a lots post on it when I get a new phone.

NOW FIRST OFF IS SOME GOOD NEWS…all new A DAY WITH…DARSTROSITY will be on YOUTUBE.COM. Subscribe to the channel NOW. I got a new camera so you’ll get better footage to watch.  The problem is music.  I can’t use background music from the games. Unless, they use no music at the bouts at all.  So right now I have to use “EPIC” background music.  If you have any local band music we can use, submit it to ROLLERBALLS.  It’s well worth it.

I’m also working on a new video segment that will happen once a month.  Also I’ll be writing and filming derby related sketches and how-to’s that you’ll going to see right here on ROLLERBALLS.

ROLLERBALLS will still have the same format with interviews and photographs.  We got a lot of rollergirls who are up and coming and or hitting the mainstream of roller derby.  We’re going to have famous roller derby photographers having their own series as well.  So be on the look out for that.  I like to thank and apologize to the photographers who I haven’t credited from LOLderby’s and Brusin’ Tuesdays.

ROLLERBALLS had some bad ideas like the DVDs I gave away at North Central Regionals…so NO MORE OF THAT!!

Rollergirl of the Year was also a bad idea.  But, ROLLERBALLS will still do it.

ROLLERBALLS will be working on new merchandise like T-shirts and Stickers!!!  PEOPLE LOVE STICKERS!!!  Want to have your t-shirt company make ROLLERBALLS Tees, contact me through my facebook.
